Sifu‘s latest 1.07 patch finally adds Mandarin Chinese voices to the game, alongside a group of bug fixes and updates.

Developer Sloclap’s martial arts brawler Sifu has seen incredible success since its launch only 3 weeks ago. Now surpassing over 1 million copies sold, the game has enticed martial arts fans around the world.

Since its launch, the developers have rolled out patch updates to continue to refine gameplay. Today, they’ve released the Sifu 1.07 patch, which includes a major update to the game’s audio.

While the Sifu 1.07 patch doesn’t bring any new gameplay content this time around, its sound design update is particularly significant. Now, the game will have Mandarin Chinese as an audio option for its characters.

Previous to the update, the game only included Chinese subtitles in traditional and simplified forms. Though it’s a little surprising the game didn’t originally include Mandarin voice-overs given its heavy reliance on Chinese aesthetics, it’s a great update that only adds to the experience.
