The latest driving simulator for the PS4 and PS5 from Polyphony Digital, Gran Turismo 7, will receive update 1.25 next week on October 23, 2022, which will feature brand new vehicles. A week from now, the full patch notes will be made available by the developer.
Kazunori Yamauchi, CEO of Polyphony Digital and creator of the Gran Turismo series, announced on Twitter that update version 1.25 for Gran Turismo 7 will be available for download starting next week on September 29, 2022.

As is usually the case with these GT7’s content updates, Kaz shared a picture of four cars that have been darkened to leave an element of surprise for fans. The game is scheduled to continue receiving such content drops in the foreseeable future, and this is just one its many planned updates.

The main features implemented in Gran Turismo 7’s Update 1.25 on October 23, 2022 are as follows:
GT7 was developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game is the eighth chapter in the mainline Gran Turismo series. It was revealed during the PlayStation 5 reveal event on June 11, 2020, and was released on March 4, 2022 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, making it the series’ first multi-console entry.
The game uses the PlayStation 5’s improved processing capabilities, dedicated ray-tracing hardware, custom solid-state drive storage, Tempest Engine, and DualSense controller to support features like advanced haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, real-time ray tracing features during replays, 3D spatial audio, and faster loading times. Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation 5 also has 4K resolution and 60 frames per second, as well as compatibility for high dynamic range.
