Update 4.02 for No Man’s Sky patch version 4.0 has arrived, and here are all of the fixes and improvements coming to the game with this massive patch. This is the next major update for No Man’s Sky and the patch notes show it too. This update is coming out alongside the Nintendo Switch release of the game. No Man’s Sky is getting a boatload of new features with the 4.02 update, this includes a new “Relaxed” mode coming into the game which focuses on exploration and less on survival. The Survival mode has also received an overhaul in update 4.02 for No Man’s Sky patch version 4.0, and the tutorial mode has become more streamlined when compared to before. Update 4.02 for No Man’s Sky patch version 4.0 seems to have brought some unwanted changes as well. The update has introduced some bugs and glitches into the game like items being lost, and upgrading the new exosuit is also bugged.  No Man’s Sky is available on PC, MacOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and now the Nintendo Switch as well.
